Dedicated to mobilising people to overcome global poverty and restore a healthy environment for people and nature.

Andy Atkins is CEO of Christian nature conservation charity, A Rocha UK, which runs the popular Eco Church scheme. He is also co-chair of the churches’ Environmental Issues Network and its Climate Sunday initiative in the approach to COP26. Andy has specialised in mobilising the public around environment and development issues with both Christian and secular charities. He was previously CEO of Friends of the Earth and Advocacy Director at Tearfund, where he initiated the charity’s work on climate change. He is married to Sarah, a former lawyer and now ordained.  They have three young adult children, one of whom is also an ordained Anglican minister.
