Godfrey Armitage
Volunteer speaker for A Rocha and Diocesan Environmental Officer, Coventry

I was a secondary school biology teacher for 30 years and then taught PGCE Secondary Science trainee teachers and courses in Ecology and Conservation at Warwick University. From 2009-2016, I was a Churchwarden at Coventry Cathedral, where I ran the 2015 Reconciling a Wounded Planet Conference programme. After this, I became Diocesan Environment Officer and, recently, Chair of the Diocese of Coventry Net Zero Carbon Steering Group. I am a CRES Tutor and have been a volunteer speaker for A Rocha since 2017.
